Multiple Roads Closed in Llangollen Amid Police Incident
A number of main roads in the centre of Llangollen are currently closed due to an ongoing incident.
People are advised to avoid the area. A spokesperson from North Wales Police confirmed the road closures just after 9am on Saturday, October 11.
Llanblogger reported a major emergency response to the incident, with at least eight police vehicles and an ambulance positioned around the Castle Street and bridge area.
- A section of the walkway in Riverside Park, close to the Corn Mill, has been cordoned off with police officers on duty at both ends.
- The incident occurred on the first day of the annual Llangollen Food Festival, which is still running today.
Organisers of the Llangollen Food Festival issued a statement on Facebook, saying: "This morning a major police incident has happened in Llangollen."
