The Denver Broncos organization came together for the NFL’s annual “My Cause My Cleats” campaign, showcasing personalized footwear that brings attention to the causes most meaningful to them.
Carrie Walton Penner, representing the Broncos ownership group, backed the team’s helmet safety project called “All In. All Covered,” which focuses on advancing player protection and awareness around head safety in football.
Broncos players and coaches chose a wide variety of charitable efforts to highlight—from youth education and mental health programs to cancer research and community development initiatives. Each participant designed custom cleats with colors, symbols, and messages representing their chosen cause.
The “My Cause My Cleats” initiative, held annually across the NFL, gives athletes and staff a chance to transform a piece of their gear into a statement of personal advocacy, amplifying charitable organizations and fostering more personal connections with fans and communities.
“It’s more than just a game—it’s an opportunity to use our platform for good,” one team representative said.
