A new publication from Thames & Hudson offers the first comprehensive overview of Vivienne Westwood’s extensive jewellery collection. Known for viral penis pendants, signature orb earrings, and the iconic pearl choker, Westwood's jewellery has become as renowned as her fashion designs.
Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery is the inaugural book dedicated solely to the history of Westwood’s jewellery pieces. Written by Alexander Fury, AnOther fashion features director, and produced in partnership with the house, it traces 55 years of her jewellery work.
“This lavish encyclopaedia of Vivienne Westwood jewellery evokes the blend of luxury and rebellion that is the house’s signature style,” said the house in a statement.
They added, “Whether a skilfully rendered safety-pin brooch, a hand-strung ‘broken’ pearl necklace or the iconic Westwood orb in crystal, these are pieces that define the house’s codes.”
This book captures Vivienne Westwood’s unique jewellery legacy, blending rebellious spirit with refined luxury across five decades.
