Big Brother fans slam 'worst' backdoor eviction they have 'ever seen' on ITV show

Big Brother Fans Criticize Backdoor Eviction as the “Worst Ever”

Viewers of the ITV reality series Big Brother expressed frustration over what many called the worst backdoor eviction in the show’s history. The controversy followed Sam’s sudden departure from the 2025 series on November 5. Both Sam from Skipton and Nancy had been nominated by fellow housemates earlier in the week.

Fans were given only 15 minutes to vote for who they wanted to keep during the live broadcast on November 4, right after a fireworks party. However, the result remained secret until the following day’s episode.

During the latest episode, which coincided with Teja’s birthday celebration, Big Brother assembled housemates including Richard, Jenny, and Caroline in the garden for a fireworks show that came with an unexpected twist.

“Housemates, it’s nearly time for Big Brother’s firework display. But, before we light the fuse, Big Brother has some news. Tonight is not just fireworks night, it’s also eviction night.”

Big Brother then instructed:

“Sam, Nancy, go to the snug now to collect your spectacular eviction outfits.”

Inside the snug, the two contestants discovered themed costumes — Sam’s in red and Nancy’s in blue. The host concluded with another dramatic announcement:

“Sam and Nancy, tonight one of you is about to go out with a bang.”
