Madison Beer has announced a last-minute postponement of her scheduled performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The singer informed fans through her social media that the appearance will be rescheduled, citing unexpected issues on the show's side.
Beer clarified that the delay was due to unforeseen production problems at Jimmy Kimmel Live! rather than her own team. She assured followers that a new broadcast date will be shared once confirmed.
“Unexpected problems at the show led to the change, not anything from our end,” Beer explained.
The late-night performance was originally part of the promotional rollout for Beer’s third studio album, Locket, which is slated for release in 2026. She intended to perform new material from the project, including her recent single “Bittersweet,” which dropped only weeks ago.
In recent interviews, Beer said her new music draws from the energy of live performances. She noted that touring helped her understand which parts of her songs connect most with audiences. This has influenced her writing and production style.
“Live shows taught me exactly which moments light up the crowd,” she said.
Describing her track “Yes Baby,” Beer called it playful and affirming, with lyrics and hooks designed for fan participation. The song channels the thrill of performing and aims to create a shared, energetic atmosphere.
“‘Yes Baby’ feels immediate and communal,” Beer added. “It’s meant to be shouted back by the audience.”
Despite speculation that she might shift toward EDM, Beer confirmed that her upcoming record remains grounded in pop, emphasizing authenticity over trend-following.
Madison Beer postponed her Jimmy Kimmel Live! performance due to production issues, promising a reschedule as she builds anticipation for her pop-focused 2026 album Locket.
