The FIFA World Cup will be hosted in Canada next year, featuring some of the country’s most prominent entertainers. Canada Soccer unveiled a new initiative on Tuesday that highlights leading Canadian musicians collaborating on an album inspired by the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will take place in Toronto, Vancouver, and 14 other North American cities.
All contributors are part of the Perfect Pitch project, produced by Grammy-winning Boi-1da.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been,” said Boi-1da.
The album includes original songs, reimagined tracks, and unique collaborations with some of Canada’s most celebrated artists. It is scheduled for release before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which begins in North America next June.
This collaborative album showcases Canada’s diverse musical talent, uniting top artists to celebrate the upcoming FIFA World Cup on home soil.
