Jetstar is set to make overseas travel simpler and more affordable for Sunshine Coast residents. Beginning 25 March 2026, the airline will introduce direct flights from the Sunshine Coast to Bali, with onward connections to Singapore.
Passengers can now fly directly from the Sunshine Coast to Bali in approximately six hours, eliminating the need to travel via Brisbane. The new service promises both time and cost savings, with easy access to Bali’s beaches and culture.
The arrival schedule is designed to align with Jetstar’s connecting flights from Bali (Denpasar) to Singapore. Travellers can depart the Sunshine Coast in the morning and reach Singapore by dinner time.
“This new service represents a milestone for the region, marking Jetstar as the first carrier to link Sunshine Coast directly with Bali.”
The Sunshine Coast–Bali route becomes Jetstar’s tenth direct route from Australia to Bali and the fourth from Queensland, following the recent introduction of Gold Coast–Bali flights earlier in 2025.
Author’s summary: Jetstar’s new direct Sunshine Coast–Bali route launches in March 2026, connecting Queenslanders to Bali and Singapore faster and more affordably than ever.
