Starting March 2026, Jetstar will operate flights from the Sunshine Coast to Denpasar three times weekly using its A321neo LR fleet, adding over 70,000 seats annually. These flights will continue onward to Singapore.
Jetstar will introduce a route connecting the Sunshine Coast to Singapore via Bali from next year.
“We’re proud to be the first airline to connect the Sunshine Coast to Bali and Singapore. It’s a great win for travellers wanting an easy international getaway,” said Jetstar chief executive Stephanie Tully.
“With direct flights to Bali, travellers can trade hours on the road to Brisbane for extra time in paradise and enjoy more of what makes this island paradise so special.
Jetstar is proud to be the largest carrier operating in South-East Queensland and we’re excited to continue expanding our network to meet strong low fares demand.”
This will be Jetstar’s tenth direct route between Australia and Bali and the fourth from Queensland, following the launch of Gold Coast–Denpasar flights earlier this year.
“For the first time, locals can fly direct to Bali for an island holiday. Our research shows that this is a highly sought after destination for locals,” said Sunshine Coast Airport chief executive Chris Mills.
“But it gets even better: after a short stop in Bali the flight continues on to Singapore – a global hub.”
This new connection is considered a significant development for the Sunshine Coast, offering convenient international travel options for residents and boosting the region’s accessibility.
Jetstar’s new flight service from Sunshine Coast to Bali and Singapore starting in March 2026 enhances regional connectivity and offers easy international travel options for locals and tourists.
