Across the United States, the demand for legal assistance after accidents and injuries has been rising significantly, with notable differences between the states. A new study conducted by the CR Legal Team highlights which regions are most actively searching for personal injury representation and how Americans pursue justice following impactful incidents.
According to the study, residents of Connecticut search for personal injury lawyers more frequently than any other state. Using Google Keyword Planner data, researchers analyzed search terms related to "personal injury lawyer" across all 50 states and compared the average monthly searches per 100,000 residents.
Connecticut ranked first with an annual average of 1,145 searches per 100,000 people, which is 193.6% higher than the national mean of 390. The state recorded approximately 42,440 searches among its 3,707,120 residents.
Louisiana took second place, averaging 1,136 searches per 100,000 residents—191.3% above the national average. With a population of 4,607,410, the state registered roughly 52,340 searches for personal injury legal assistance.
"Some states show a much greater appetite for personal injury representation than others," the CR Legal Team report concludes.
The study drew on keyword data from Google’s planning tools to gauge interest levels by state, offering insight into where Americans are most actively seeking professional legal support following injuries or accidents.
