Special Weather Statement for Ottawa

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Ottawa about accumulating snow expected on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Snowfall amounts between 5 and 15 cm are forecast to begin Sunday morning and continue into Sunday night. Snowfall warnings may be necessary.

Motorists should prepare for difficult winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Poor weather may cause transportation delays.

Students, faculty, and staff are advised to monitor the Current Students weather page for ongoing updates. The university will remain open, and all operations will continue as scheduled. Please exercise caution when traveling to and commuting on campus.
