Environment Canada has issued a caution warning forecasting three to 15 cm of snow to hit the Ottawa region on Sunday. After some fluctuations in the forecast throughout the day, the agency confirmed that the capital can expect accumulating snow.
By mid-afternoon, Environment Canada predicted snow accumulation ranging from three to 15 cm on Sunday, an increase from the earlier forecast on Saturday afternoon, which had estimated a maximum of about 5 cm.
The precipitation is expected to start Sunday morning and continue into Sunday night. A low-pressure system is responsible for the snow.
