Moise Kean has officially withdrawn from the Italy national team squad due to an ankle issue.
Kean started in Saturday's 3-1 World Cup qualifying victory against Estonia, scoring after four minutes, but was forced to withdraw shortly afterwards.
The FIGC have confirmed that Kean will not be able to take part against Israel on Tuesday.
Following medical tests on Monday, Kean will return to Fiorentina instead of participating in Tuesday's World Cup qualifier against Israel.
A statement from the FIGC read: "Gennaro Gattuso will not be able to rely on Moise Kean, who will leave the training camp in the next few hours."
