The Cleveland Cavaliers faced the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night at Rocket Arena, overcoming challenges to maintain their winning momentum.
Despite continuing injury issues, the Cavaliers defeated the Bulls 128-122 in a thrilling comeback. They played without All-Star guard Darius Garland, who was rested after playing the previous night against the Washington Wizards to avoid back-to-back appearances.
The Bulls briefly gained a lead at 122-116 with under two minutes left after guard Tre Jones made six consecutive free throws over three trips to the line, but the Cavs closed strongly.
"The Cavs trailed 122-116 with 1:47 left in the fourth quarter, but they closed the game on a 12-0 run to beat the Bulls 128-122."
The win improved Cleveland’s record to 7-3, while the Bulls fell to 6-3.
The Cavaliers overcame injuries and a late deficit to extend their winning streak to four games with a strong comeback against the Bulls.
