However, foul trouble almost hindered the Golden Eagles. They committed 33 fouls, with seven players close to fouling out, giving the visiting Patriots numerous free-throw chances.
Joy Kendrick, who scored 21 points, led the Patriots by going 12-for-15 at the free-throw line despite a 4-for-15 shooting performance from the field.
The Patriots attempted 50 free throws, making 32 for a 64 percent conversion rate.
