Footy great Brendan Fevola shared that he experienced a strange home invasion over the weekend, fearing that he and his family were about to be robbed. The father of four was getting ready to take his youngest daughter, Tobi, rollerskating when the unusual event happened.
As they were leaving the house, Fevola turned around and was shocked to see an elderly woman and her dog standing in his hallway.
“Oh my god, I’ve had an intruder,” Fevola told the Fifi, Fev and Nick show. “I turn around and see this old lady with a dog walking into our house... and the dog just comes in and I go: ‘Hello?’”
The former Carlton and Brisbane player initially became alarmed, suspecting the woman might be scoping out the property during Halloween weekend.
“I was like: ‘Is this person scoping my house out? Get old people to come into my house and see what you’ve got and later on you get robbed.’ I was like: ‘Is this a set-up?’”
This unusual encounter left Fevola stunned but highlighted the unpredictability of home security concerns.
