An AEW wrestler made her in-ring return for another promotion during a multi-person tag team match at the historic Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
In February, it was announced that Megan Bayne officially joined AEW, where she competes as part of the faction Top Gods. Known for her time in World Wonder Ring Stardom, Bayne previously held the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League championship.
Bayne made her second return to Stardom this year on November 7, entering multi-woman competition during the ongoing Goddesses of Stardom Tag League tournament. She teamed with Empress Nexus Venus members HANAKO, Rian, and Waka Tsukiyama.
Bayne and her team defeated God’s Eye (Ami Sourei and Lady C) along with Mi Vida Loca (Akira Kurogane and Bozilla) at Korakuen Hall.
Footage of Bayne’s entrance was posted by the official Stardom World account, highlighting the strong reaction from fans at the venue.
Just days earlier, Bayne earned a victory over Mina Shirakawa, who substituted for Queen Aminata, during the Women’s Blood And Guts Advantage Battle on the November 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
AEW’s Blood and Guts event returns on November 12, featuring its first women’s edition with stars like Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa, Kris Statlander, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Thekla, Megan Bayne, Marina Shafir, and Mercedes Moné.
