During a November 6 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, actress Sarah Snook revealed the amusing misconception her 2-year-old daughter has about her mother's job. Snook, who stars in All Her Fault and shares her daughter with husband Dave Lawson, explained that her little one is still figuring out what her mom actually does for a living.
Sarah Snook joked about her daughter's limited understanding of her career, saying, “Yeah, she’s still sort of learning what I do.” Kelly Clarkson responded, “Oh, she will not realize for a minute.”
Snook described how her daughter would watch her bow on stage during the matinee performances of The Picture of Dorian Gray, a role for which Snook won a Tony Award this year.
“Well I mean, when I was doing Dorian, my husband would bring her in and like for the bows, she would often be…during the matinee, she would often be behind stage so she could see me bowing,” Snook said.
Snook believes her daughter imagines her job is all about going to work and bowing for two hours.
“But I think that she thinks that my job is just going to work and bowing for two hours,” she said. “Like I just stand there and do this,” Snook added, bowing as she spoke. “And people clap.”
