Cloud Streaming Launches on PlayStation Portal
PlayStation has officially introduced Cloud Streaming for PS5 games on the PlayStation Portal, available from November 5, 6pm PT / November 6, 2am GMT for PlayStation Plus Premium members.
New Streaming Features for PlayStation Plus Premium
Members with PlayStation Plus Premium can now stream selected digital PS5 games directly from their own library using Cloud Streaming, without needing to connect to a PS5 console via Remote Play.
Device Evolution and Updates
- The PlayStation Portal remote player launched in November 2023.
- Since then, it has received important updates, including enhanced public Wi-Fi support and user experience improvements.
- Last year, a Cloud Streaming beta allowed access to select PS5 games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog and Classics Catalog.
