Chinese filmmaker Yi Zhou has accused Marvel actor Jeremy Renner of domestic violence, ongoing harassment, and threats to have her deported by calling ICE. The 37-year-old made these allegations through Instagram posts and expanded on them in an interview with The Daily Mail.
Zhou stated that their relationship began in July after Renner sent her unsolicited explicit photos and showed interest in her filmmaking work. Renner contributed to two of her projects: an animated film and a documentary titled Chronicles of Disney.
While working on the documentary at Renner's residence in Reno, Zhou described an episode where he became violent. She explained:
“I was discussing about the doc logistics, then he drank a bottle of wine alone and got angry and angry yelling for two hours. I had to location share to my team, my parents and Disney colleagues in case something happens to me they know where I am. I had to lock myself in a room to be safe praying he would not come into the room at night as he was really angry. I did not say a word, I was so scared for my life.”
Yi Zhou publicly accuses Jeremy Renner of abusive behavior and threats, supported by her detailed testimony and corroborating messages, highlighting serious allegations against the actor.
Author’s note: The accusations emphasize the importance of addressing abuse claims carefully and verifying facts through multiple sources.
