Singer Tish Hyman reported that Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles canceled her membership following her complaint about a man using the women’s locker room. The incident occurred after Hyman confronted the man directly and shared a video of the encounter.
Hyman, 42, explained that she had “repeatedly made written reports on this man for coming into our women’s locker room harassing us, and the gym staff has done absolutely nothing!!” She added that she was often ignored when reporting quietly but decided to speak up loudly this time.
“He has disrespected me multiple times, and I’ve only been ignored when I quietly reported it. But today I made noise!!” “Today as I walked into the locker room he came in behind me and called me a b*tch in a deep angry voice. I RAN OUT INTO THE GYM SCREAMING THERE IS A MAN IN THE REST ROOM!!” “I called for help and men in the gym got involved, THANK GOD and the staff finally decided to act.”
The shared video showed the man dressed in all black, having a verbal exchange with another individual before Hyman shouted, “Now he knows how to be a man, right? Stay outta the women’s locker room! He needs to have his gym membership revoked for that s–t!”
Hyman also mentioned prior complaints she made against the man to the gym management.
Tish Hyman’s experience highlights ongoing concerns about safety and response protocols in gym spaces, leading to controversy over her membership termination after confronting misconduct.
