Wigan Girl to Star Alongside Harry Potter Legend

Two young actors from Greater Manchester will feature alongside Shirley Henderson and Dougray Scott in the upcoming Channel 4 drama Summerwater, premiering on Sunday, 16 November.

Young Talent from Manchester and Wigan

Bertie Wallwork, 10, from Salford, and Emily Briscoe, 12, from Wigan, both attend Small Screen Talent, an acting academy founded by Ross Adams with locations in Manchester and Wigan. Bertie has already appeared in TV shows like Ted Lasso (Apple TV) and Pushers (Channel 4). For Emily, this is her first professional television role.
