Seta, the Italian public transport operator, is the first to adopt Conduent’s next-generation DOT1 ticket vending machines. The rollout covers the central provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia, and Piacenza, serving 77 million passengers annually.
The DOT1 kiosk is a compact, multimedia platform designed for easy use and flexible deployment. It offers advanced digital payment options such as contactless credit and debit cards, NFC-enabled digital wallets on smartphones, and peer-to-peer payments like PayPal.
With its multimedia abilities, the system allows operators to generate new revenue by incorporating custom content from local businesses and brands, engaging users beyond transportation services.
"The implementation marks a significant step in the digitalisation of Seta’s ticketing services for its 77 million passengers."
Conduent highlights the DOT1 system as a user-friendly solution built to modernize ticketing and enrich passenger interaction through flexible technology.
This deployment of Conduent's DOT1 ticket machines demonstrates a major digital leap for Seta, improving passenger convenience and opening new commercial opportunities.
