During Oasis' concert in Melbourne on October, Liam Gallagher harshly criticized a fan who threw a flare into the crowd. The incident occurred at Marvel Stadium during the band's Friday show, marking the start of their Australian Live '25 reunion tour.
"To the massive CUNT who launched that flare into the crowd last night at the gig in Melbourne you are 1 seriously fucked up individual and you will get yours trust me."
Gallagher shared this message on X (formerly Twitter) right after the performance. A user responded with a video showing the person waving the flare before throwing it into the audience.
The flare was launched during the band's final song, "Champagne Supernova." A concertgoer, Brad Bultman, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that Gallagher noticed the flare and commented "naughty, naughty, naughty" after the song ended.
Bultman initially thought the flare was part of the show but soon saw it ignite and spread, with someone picking it up and throwing it again, causing more fire and smoke.
"I was like, 'Oh geez' — you hope nobody gets hurt."
Liam Gallagher openly condemned the reckless act of a fan who threw a flare during an Oasis concert in Melbourne, emphasizing the dangers it posed to attendees.
