Bradley Cooper, Ben Affleck, Ryan Coogler Among Presenters for Michael B. Jordan’s American Cinematheque Tribute

Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, and Ryan Coogler are among the celebrities confirmed to present at the American Cinematheque Award ceremony honoring Michael B. Jordan on November 20.

The 39th annual event will celebrate Jordan’s achievements in film and his continuing impact on cinema. Oscar winners Daniel Kaluuya, Mahershala Ali, and Octavia Spencer will join the roster of presenters, along with Delroy Lindo, Phylicia Rashad, Tessa Thompson, and producer Irwin Winkler, known for his work on the Rocky and Creed franchises.

Donna Langley, chairman of NBC Universal Entertainment and Studios, will present the MPA’s Charles H. Rivkin with the Power of Cinema Award.

“The show will also feature a special musical performance by Miles Caton, Ludwig Göransson, and Raphael Saadiq presenting ‘I Lied to You’ from the film Sinners.”

Jordan’s recognition follows his dual performance as the twin brothers Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler’s critically acclaimed film Sinners, released earlier this year.

The tribute will take place at the Beverly Hilton and serves as a fundraiser for the American Cinematheque, a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and celebrating film culture through its programming at the Aero Theatre, Los Feliz 3 Theatre, and the Egyptian Theatre.
