A new country will soon join the Abraham Accords, the series of normalization deals between Israel and several Muslim-majority nations, according to Steve Witkoff, US President Donald Trump's special envoy.
Witkoff revealed during a business forum in Miami, Florida, that he was flying back to Washington to attend an event where the new member of the Accords would be announced.
"I'm flying back to Washington tonight because we're going to announce tonight, another country coming into the Abraham Accords."
The Abraham Accords are peace agreements originally signed during President Trump's first term, aiming to normalize relations between Israel and Muslim-majority countries.
The Abraham Accords are set to expand as the US plans to announce a new Central Asian country joining, highlighting ongoing diplomatic progress in the region.
