On Wednesday, October 29th, the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center at NYU Tisch hosted a special event to launch a new café in collaboration with Italian coffee brand Lavazza. The occasion brought together alumni, current students, and special guests to celebrate Lavazza’s contribution to this new space within the Center located at Industry City.

Tisch Dean's Council member Martin Scorsese ’64, ’68, Hon. ’92 attended with his daughter, Francesca Scorsese ’23, a recent alumna of the Kanbar Institute for Film & TV. During the event, Martin Scorsese reflected on the importance of coffee shops in his adolescence and career, describing them as key places for artistic collaboration and creative exchange.
