CNN will offer a special streaming-only live cast for Election Night, hosted by Harry Enten and featuring guests such as Charlamagne tha God, Ben Shapiro, and Kara Swisher. This event targets younger, digital audiences on CNN's subscription-based service, "All Access."
Unlike traditional CNN broadcasts, this live cast will not air on cable and will be exclusive to the streaming platform. The panel will gather informally on couches, discussing voting returns over food and drinks instead of sitting behind a desk.
“We are excited to build upon CNN’s best-in-class election coverage and provide a unique and more casual experience for subscribers to CNN’s new streaming service,” said Abigail Crutchfield, CNN's senior vice president of Washington and special-events programming.
“The goal of the program is to give streaming audiences unfiltered access to a raw, smart, engaging conversation with some of the biggest voices in media as the results unfold.”
The streaming event will begin at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time on CNN's “All Access” platform and will not be available via traditional TV channels.
