The 21st annual New York Comedy Festival is set to take place from November 7 to 16, with Caroline Hirsch once again leading the event. This year features 100 shows and 200 comedians, making it one of New York's funniest lineups yet.
"He’s forgiven, public wants him back."
Social media plays a key role in spreading the word, with the festival partnering with Threads as a new social media platform, which Hirsch describes as "good for creators."
Hirsch splits her time between Manhattan, Palm Beach, and Water Mill, and speaks enthusiastically about the talent this year, comparing the festival to "a proud parent to a new 21-year-old kid."
"And we have a celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the cancellation of Strangers With Candy with Stephen Colbert and Amy Sedaris at Town Hall. I’m looking forward to that, especially with what’s going on with Stephen at this time."
Despite decades in the comedy business, Hirsch still laughs heartily, enjoying the moments that comedy brings.
Author's summary: Caroline Hirsch leads the 21st New York Comedy Festival with a robust lineup, embracing returning acts like Louis C.K., new headliners, and special celebrations, fueled by strong social media support.
